EXCITING!!!

Today was a super exciting day for Kylee!!! She had her Futsal (indoor type soccer) tournament game today. They were supposed to play on Friday, but they cancelled it, because of the weather, and they rescheduled it for this morning at 8:00. This wouldn't be a problem other than Kylee had her big appointment with the Orthodontist to have her braces taken off! This was one appointment that she DID NOT WANT TO RE-SCHEDULE, and I don't blame her one bit.

She played her game this morning, and pulled off a win! They won 3-2!!! She was super excited, but we couldn't stay around for the trophy ceremony...we had to race to get to the Orthodontist, which was 15 minutes away on a dry day...and it was SNOWING like crazy. We raced there as fast as we could, but were still 15 minutes late. Anyone who knows me, knows how I hate to be late, I think it is super rude. Everything worked out ok though, everyone else was late because of the weather!

She got her braces off, and if I might say...not being biased at all....he is one Beauty! I can't believe that she has had them on for 18 months! She is only in the 6th grade, and she is done with braces...what a lucky girl! Anyway, here are some before and after pictures of the little beaut!

She was so looking forward to a "Tangy Taffy"...she hasn't been able to eat one for 18 months...we stopped at the gas station, and wouldn't you know it, they were out. So, she opted for her second fav...sour skittles! Yuck!

She gets her retainer tomorrow at 4pm....until then she is metal free!
