Yippee...schools out!!!

Today was the last day of school for my 2 older kids. They were so excited last night, they couldn't fall asleep! The woke up early this morning, and couldn't stop talking about it. I then remembered being their age, and feeling the same way...no worries, no school, no stress...could life be any better? I think not!

They only went to school for an hour and 15 minutes today...nothing like a waste of a day! They had fun, took pictures of their friends, won prizes, talked to their school friends for the last time in a couple of months, hugged their teachers, and came home! Kylee was really sad to leave the 5th grade, she has had an AMAZING teacher this year, and she is really going to miss her. She has learned so much, Mrs. Franson has taught her so much, and really loved Kylee. Cayden's teacher was awesone as well. He was a little too laid back for my child, so hopefully next year will be a little more structure, but he is a great teacher, and in his defense he has had a really naughty bunch of boys in his class this year (yes, my child would be one of those!)

Cayden played a mean four square, and had fun doing a relay race!

The last week has been a really fun week for the kids, they have had field day, Kylee had the 5th grade water party...too bad it was 68 degrees, and windy!

Kylee was soaking wet, and shouldn't have worn jean shorts...they were so wet, they nearly fell off her skinny little body!

Here are a couple of pictures of them with their report cards, and their advancement slips to move on to the next grade! UGGGHHH! That means that Kylee will be in 6th, Cayden in 3rd, and Halle in Kindergarten. Kill me know!

Luckily we have the whole summer to look forward to!
