Ok, so this is a complain post. Sorry, if you don't want to hear it...stop reading! What happens to your children when they turn 12? Do they forget e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. that has ever been taught to them? Do they suddenly loose all of their brain cells? Do they loose all respect for everything, and everyone? I have a great daughter that just turned 12, and when people told me that they turn into these selfish little monsters, I thought to myself..."apparently they don't know MY daughter, she is such a great girl, so kind, Christ like, thoughtful..."
Then she turned 12, and reality slapped me right smack in the face. She is just like all of the rest of those little self centered terds. I don't ever remember being like that :)!! Lord have mercy on me, and on her, so that we still like each other when she finally pulls her head out!
The end.

I got an award...
I am so honored, my cousin Shanna gave me my very first award!
She gave me this award because I "unprivatized" my blog, and because I make her laugh...naturally! We are from the same blood line...we are all comedians!
Thanks Shanna!
Here are the rules:
1. Put the award on your blog.
2. Include a link to the person who gave you the award.
3. Nominate 6 or more blogs
4. Leave a message on their blog letting them know they have an award on your blog.
So here aer my peeps I am giving this award to:
1. Emily, at: Our crazy cute kids, because she is my sister, and she is DANG funny!
2. Greg & Whit, at: It's always better when were together, because they always have something funny to blog about...dogs pooping on their lawn, guitar hero...it's all funny!
3. Anna, at: Anna can cook, because she has some good cookin' ideas!
4. Matt & Jessi, at: O-town, because they have the most beautiful newbaby girl!
5. Ali, at: Ali's turn, because she has the FUNNIEST blog posts ever. I laugh until I nearly pee every time!
6. Jessica, at: Taste every season, because she is a great cook/baker, and has great recipes I am sure you will want to try!
Well, these are also the only 6 blogs that I read that aren't private, or haven't already been nominated!
Congrats!

Home-made Raspberry jam...
I love home-made rapsberry jam. I don't like jam, but I LOVE this jam! I made a batch about 6 years ago, and for Christmas gave a bottle of my home-made jam, and a loaf of home-made bread. I thought it was a great Christmas gift. I don't think people really appreciated how much time and work went into it. WELL, I haven't undertaken that challenge for a long time, and I decided to do it this year!
I have learned my lesson, that I will never give home-made jam to anyone that I am not either related to, or like a lot.
Here is my jam experience...in pictures (incase you have never made jam...and wanted a picutre tutorial!)

I did it...
I "unprivatized" (if that is a word) my blog. I am still nervous about all of the sick-o's out there, but I want people to be able to read and comment on my blog. SO, if you read it...comment. Got it? Even if I don't know you, this will be a good way to shall we say...get to know each other!? I will update soon. Lots of pictures...not a lotta time!

Baby Sky!
I don't know if I am allowed to call her Sky, but she is beautiful!
Matt & Jessi had their beautiful baby on Monday afternoon. She has been long awaited! I can't wait to go and see her, and bring all of the little baby gifts that we have been collecting over the last few months!
They definitely make gorgeous babies!

Seriously
I came home from 4 days of being at girls camp, serving the Lord...
Kylee comes up from getting her clothes to take a shower...
and says this to me:
"mom I just stepped in a puddle of water on the floor right in front of my room."
I went down stairs to find that our water heater had broken, and water had been flooding the basement for 4 days with no one knowing.
We had to call the plumber to come over and replace the water heater, we don't know how much it will cost. We had to pull up all of the carpet that has only been down for 1 year. We had to rip out all of the pad, because there was standing water.
Where is the love?
My K-bug turned 12!
This belated post is dedicated to my 12 year old daughter! Is is really possible that I have a 12 year old? I am only 22 you know!
Kylee turned 12 on Wednesday, but we were at girls camp! She celebrated her birthday at girls camp this year...which was good and bad! The girls decorated her tent, and made her a cute sign that she had to wear all day, but she was a little sad, because she wasn't home, and didn't get the birthday treatment like she wanted! We will make it up to her on Sunday instead!
Here are 12 things that I LOVE , or she is good at, about Kylee, or K-bug as she is known in our house!
1. Her smile! She has the prettiest smile (and has ber braces off before Jr. High...how lucky!)
2. Her heart. She has the kindest heart, she looks out for everyone, and loves everyone, if only she had learned that from me!
3. Her amazing soccer talent~ she is one talented little chick!
4. Her innocence. She is so Christ like. She doesn't have one bit of guile.
5. She is an amazing sister, and babysitter! She loves little kids, and babies. I wish that we had more little kids, so she could help out more!
6. She will stand up for what she knows is right, even if it means going against her friends. What an awesome gift!
7. She is tuning into a fashionista! She never used to love to shop, now all she wants to do is shop! It is fun to see her get all worried about what she looks like!
8. She has a strong testimony of the gospel, and I was so excited hear her bear it girls camp.
9. She is BEAUTIFUL! She is going to be quite the heart breaker...I am not quite ready for her to grow up so fast!
10. She is a great friend, to everyone! She doesn't understand how to judge people, or why others do. I hope this stays with her for a long time!
11. She is a great helper with anything that I need. She will almost always do it with a smile as well!
12. She is the cutest Beehive you have ever seen! She is so glad to be out of primary, and in Young Womens!
Happy Day K-Bug! I can't believe that you are 12! We are so proud of the beautiful young woman you are becoming! I hope you had a great birthday!
Love,
Dad & Mom
I know this is a horrid picture, but it was with my phone, and it was dark! Here is her "Birthday dinner" after her soccer tournament today. She really wanted to go to Brick Oven, so we went with most of the girls from her team. I think she really had fun!
Look how young she looks! This was 4 years ago when she cut off her hair, and donated it to locks of love. Don't mind the red eyes, she was a little nervous about going to school!
