So...this year for Cayden's 9th birthday Clay really wanted to get him a shot gun. My first thought was that he would shoot his eye out. Lord help us all! But, Clay was really persistent, and lo and behold...look what he got! Cayden was super excited! We had to give it to him before we left for St. George, because we really didn't want to carry a gun with us down there! Here are a couple of pictures of him, the first one is of him as soon as he got it. Clay made him close his eyes, and then surprised him with it. The last couple are of their first hunt together. Clay, Cayden & my dad went down to Nephi and went Pheasant hunting on Friday. Cayden didn't want a birthday party this year, he just wanted to skip school, and spend the day with his dad hunting. It was an added bonus that grandpa came along! He got his bird with the first shot. THIS apparently is pretty awesome!

At first Cayden was holding the gun straight into Clay's face, not on purpose of course, but we decided it would be better facing the other direction!

Dad was telling us all about Cayden's amazing first shot. He was so proud~ Nice shot Cade. Uncle Ross would be so proud.
